Under the technological domain of POLIBRE, 2 planning stages can be distinguished. These are well-defined research fields where the various activities of the Pole and its associated members are concentrated:

• BIOMASS,
dedicated to the study of AGROENERGETICS BIOMASS
• PHOTOVOLT,
dedicated to the study of ADVANCED PHOTOVOLTAIC EFFECT

The principle goal of POLIBRE is to encourage the growth of associated businesses through the innovation of products and processes in these two fields.
The trajectories, in line with the strategic goals selected every year by the Pole, can in their own right be divided into lines of development, that represent the specific realization of the planned trajectories and identify the short, medium and long term aims, the subjects involved, the number of services and projects requested and the total budget that is considered necessary to invest.
